Began playing tennis at age 4 after being introduced by his mom… Father, Mike, is a mortgage banker and ex-baseball player who was drafted by Detroit Tigers; mother, Chris; sister, Ellen….Considered playing college tennis at University of Southern California before turning pro in June 2006….Member of ATP Player Council for 2018-20 term… Favorite surface is hard and shots are serve and forehand… Hobbies include playing basketball, table tennis and golf.
